Why it’s called fast-ing not slow-ing

Look I get it, hell I’ve even been there myself. FOR YEARS, I’d wake up, starving...

Then I’d smash down porridge oats, soaked in full-fat cow's milk, with chopped banana, raisins, cashew nuts & free-poured Tescos own brand bees honey.

This was my daily 1200+ calorie morning routine for the first 3-5 years of my creative industry career, yet I couldn’t figure out why in the name of Christ I was brain dead for the first few hours of work despite the 2 cups of strong ass black coffee I’d chug to keep my eyes open. I couldn’t figure out why I had such painful bloating & gut churning, office clearing pants rippers so early either. I also couldn't figure out why I had a pot belly despite 6 gym sessions & 2 Muay Thai classes a week. It didn’t add up.

Getting the wheels in motion first thing in the morning can be a grind, most people will (as I did - for years), blindley down energy drinks, pick at office biscuits, kitchen snacks, & scratch their heads wondering why their cravings have them by the balls (or ovaries). 

The ‘slimming’ black T-shirts begin to fool fewer & fewer people as the old stubborn love handles slowly morph into muffin tops & cankles.

But I’m hungry damn it. What’s the solution?
